Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and Nybble. They cover what you can expect from the service, what we expect from you, and the limits of our responsibility. Please read them before using the site.

1.Who we are and what these terms cover

Nybble (“Nybble”, “we”, “us”) is an AI learning service operated at getnybble.com as a sole proprietorship based in India. By accessing or using the site you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Our Privacy Policy forms part of these terms.

2.Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Nybble. If you are under 18, you may use the service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf. Nybble is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

3.Your account

Snack is available without an account, up to a daily limit of cards in the feed; shared links to individual stories are always readable. Stack and Hack require you to sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure.

  • Provide accurate information and keep it current.
  • One account per person. Do not share, sell, or transfer your account.
  • Tell us at bytes@getnybble.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You may close your account at any time by emailing bytes@getnybble.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, as described in section 13.

4.Acceptable use

When using Nybble, you agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download content except as permitted by our robots.txt.
  • Use bots, scripts, or automation to read content, answer quizzes, or earn bits, badges, or streaks.
  • Republish, resell, or redistribute our content as your own or as a competing product.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source of any part of the service.
  • Probe, scan, overload, or interfere with the service, its infrastructure, or other users' access to it.
  • Upload or transmit unlawful, infringing, or malicious content, including through your profile.
  • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.

5.Our content and intellectual property

The Stack explainers, Hack modules and questions, editorial summaries, badge artwork, page designs, and the Nybble name and marks are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. The Nybble word mark is the subject of a pending trade mark application in India (reference no. 14718978).

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the content for your own learning. Every other right is reserved. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link back to the page.

6.Third-party content and attribution

Snack covers the AI news cycle by summarising articles published by third parties, including technology publications and company research blogs. For each item:

  • The summary is our own editorial writing, produced with the assistance of automated tools.
  • Headlines, article text, source names, and logos remain the property of the original publisher.
  • We name the source and link to the original article. We encourage you to read it.
  • We do not reproduce full articles or paywalled content.

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any third-party site we link to, and a link is not an endorsement.

7.Copyright complaints and takedown

If you own rights in material you believe has been used on Nybble improperly, write to bytes@getnybble.com with the URL of the page, identification of the material, a description of your rights, and your contact details.

We review complaints promptly and will remove or amend material where the complaint is well founded. Publishers who would prefer that we do not summarise their feed may tell us and we will stop.

8.Bits, badges, and streaks

Nybble uses a progress system built on bits (four bits make one nybble), badges, and daily streaks. Bits are earned by using the service and are spent inside it to unlock content and cosmetic items.

  • Bits are not money, currency, or a financial instrument. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, transferred between accounts, or sold, and cannot be bought on their own. A paid plan includes a bit allowance as one part of what it covers, which is not a purchase of bits.
  • Bits you earn do not expire. Allowance bits included with a paid plan expire at the end of the billing cycle they were granted for and do not roll over; allowance bits are spent before earned ones.
  • Content and items you unlock with bits stay unlocked permanently, including after a subscription ends or an account stops being paid for.
  • Badges and streaks are personal to your account and are not transferable.
  • We may change how bits are awarded, adjust daily caps, change prices, add or retire badges and items, and change the criteria for earning them, as the content catalogue grows. Changes apply going forward and do not remove something you have already unlocked.
  • We may correct, reverse, or reset balances and awards that result from a bug, a duplicate event, or activity that breaches section 4.
  • Bits, badges, streaks, and unlocks are forfeited when an account is closed and do not survive termination.

9.Public badge pages

When you earn a badge, a public page for it is created automatically at getnybble.com/badge. It can be viewed by anyone with the link and may be indexed by search engines, and it shows your display name, the badge, and the date you earned it. This is on by default and you can switch it off at any time from your profile. Section 5 of the Privacy Policy explains exactly what is published and how to remove it.

10.Cost, paid plans, and renewal

Nybble is free to use. Every course becomes free to everyone twelve months after it is published, and paid content is otherwise reachable with bits you earn by using the service. You are never required to pay to keep an account or to reach any part of the catalogue.

We also offer optional paid subscriptions, which change how quickly you can move through the catalogue rather than what is available in it. Prices and what each tier includes are listed on the pricing page. You will never be charged without agreeing to these terms and the price shown at checkout first.

  • Subscriptions are billed annually, as a single payment for the year ahead, and are charged in Indian rupees.
  • They renew automatically at the end of each year through a UPI Autopay mandate, until you cancel. Cancelling stops the mandate and takes effect at the end of the year you have already paid for.
  • Current prices are introductory founder rates: subscribe at one and you renew at it for as long as the subscription stays active. We will give notice before any price change that would apply to you, and it will only take effect from a following cycle.
  • A paid plan grants access for its term. Access that comes from the subscription itself — rather than from something you unlocked with bits — ends when the subscription does.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not handle or store your card or UPI details ourselves. Cancellation and refund terms, including what you keep afterwards, are set out in our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11.Certificates

Passing a quiz module at or above the published threshold lets you claim a certificate for that module, or for the course it completes. Certificates record an assessment you actually completed on Nybble; they are not an academic or professional qualification and are not accredited by any body.

  • Each certificate has a public verification page reachable by anyone with its link, which shows the holder's display name, what was certified, the score, the issue date, and a masked form of the account email. Requesting a certificate publishes that page.
  • Certificates are personal to you. Do not misrepresent what one certifies, alter the artifact, or claim one issued to someone else.
  • The number of certificates included depends on your plan; beyond that they can be bought with bits. Certificates already issued to you stay valid after a subscription ends.
  • We may revoke a certificate obtained through a breach of section 4, or correct one issued in error. A revoked certificate says so on its verification page rather than disappearing.

12.Leaderboards

Nybble runs weekly leaderboards that group accounts into cohorts and rank them on activity bits earned that week. Taking part means the other members of your cohort can see your display name, your equipped profile flair, and your weekly score.

Participation is on by default and you can leave at any time from your profile, which removes you from the standings. Attempting to manipulate a ranking — through automation, additional accounts, or any other means — breaches section 4, and we may reset a score or remove an account from the leaderboards in response.

13.Suspension and termination

You may stop using Nybble and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if your use puts the service or other users at risk, or if we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.

Sections 5, 8, 14, 15, 16, and 18 survive termination.

14.Disclaimers

Nybble is an educational service provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Our content is produced with the assistance of automated and AI tools and may contain errors, omissions, or content that is out of date. Summaries are a starting point, not a substitute for the source. Nothing on Nybble is professional, legal, financial, investment, medical, or career advice, and you should not rely on it as such. Verify anything that matters against the linked original before acting on it.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error free, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it.

15.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of Nybble, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or ₹5,000.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

16.Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your infringement of the rights of any third party.

17.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give reasonable notice on the site or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Nybble after a change means you accept the updated terms.

18.Assignment

We may assign or transfer these terms, in whole or in part, together with the rights and obligations under them, to any successor in interest, including on the incorporation of a company to operate Nybble, or in connection with a reorganisation, merger, or sale of the business or its assets. Your rights under these terms will not be reduced by such a transfer. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our prior written consent.

19.Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them. Before starting proceedings, please contact us at bytes@getnybble.com so we can try to resolve the matter directly.

20.General

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us regarding the service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
